Fly & Ride AS
Terms & Conditions 2026
Valid for reservations starting in 2026
By completing a reservation with Fly & Ride AS, the renter confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
The person completing the booking confirms that they are legally authorised to enter into this agreement.
1. Definitions
Company – Fly & Ride AS.
Renter – The person named in the rental agreement.
Vehicle – The rented motorcycle including accessories and equipment.
Agreement – The rental contract including these Terms & Conditions.
2. Driver Requirements
Minimum age: 24 years on the day of pickup.
Valid Class A motorcycle licence required.
Original driving licence and government-issued ID must be presented.
International Driving Permit (IDP) required where applicable.
Failure to provide valid documentation may result in cancellation without refund.
3. Booking & Payment
Reservations are confirmed when payment is completed.
Payment options:
• Full payment at booking
• 50% at booking and remaining 50% no later than 14 days before pickup
Payments are processed securely by card.
Changes to reservations must be requested in writing.
4. Insurance & Deductible
All motorcycles are insured in accordance with Norwegian law, including mandatory third-party liability coverage.
The renter is financially responsible for damages up to the selected deductible amount per incident.
Standard Protection (included):• Security deposit: NOK 10,000
• Maximum financial liability: NOK 10,000 per incident
Peace of Mind Protection (optional – NOK 240 per rental day):
• Security deposit: NOK 5,000
• Maximum financial liability: NOK 5,000 per incident
The deductible applies per incident.
The security deposit serves solely as security for potential damage in accordance with the selected protection level.
Road tolls, ferries, parking fees, excess kilometres, fuel differences and similar operational charges will be invoiced separately after the rental period.
Insurance does not cover damage resulting from riding under the influence, reckless riding, unauthorised drivers, off-road riding in prohibited areas, racing or violation of these terms.
In such cases, the renter may be held fully financially responsible.
5. Use of the Motorcycle
The motorcycle may only be used on public roads open to ordinary traffic.
Riding on gravel roads is permitted only where legally open to public motor vehicle use.
Off-road riding in prohibited areas is strictly forbidden.
Operation permitted only within Norway, Sweden and Denmark unless written approval is granted.
Carrying a passenger is permitted at no additional cost.
The renter is responsible for ensuring total permitted vehicle weight is not exceeded.
The rental includes 300 kilometres per rental day, calculated as an average across the rental period.
Additional kilometres are charged at NOK 3.50 per excess kilometre.
The odometer reading at pickup and return shall be final unless obvious error is documented.
6. Pickup & Return
Pickup location: Sandefjord Railway Station (or agreed location).
Pickup time: 14:00–20:00
Return time: 08:00–11:00
The motorcycle is delivered with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank.
If returned without a full tank, fuel difference will be charged at local pump price plus handling fee.
The motorcycle must be returned in reasonably clean condition.
High-pressure washing directly on bearings, chain, electronics or sensitive components is strictly prohibited.
If excessively dirty, additional cleaning fees may apply.
7. Late Return
Late returns will be charged NOK 500 per commenced hour.
Delays exceeding three (3) hours may result in an additional full rental day charge.
8. Accidents, Damage & Breakdown
In case of accident or personal injury, emergency services must be contacted immediately by calling 113.
Fly & Ride AS must be informed as soon as reasonably possible.
If roadside assistance or recovery is required due to rider error, accident or misuse, the renter is responsible for associated costs.
If breakdown results from mechanical failure not caused by the renter, Fly & Ride AS will cover recovery costs.
Loss of keys, documents or security equipment will be charged to the renter including all associated replacement and administrative costs.
9. Cancellation Policy
More than 30 days before pickup: Full refund minus administration fee.
14–30 days before pickup: 50% refund.
7–14 days before pickup: 25% refund.
Less than 7 days or no-show: No refund.
10. Travel Insurance
Fly & Ride AS strongly recommends valid personal travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip interruption and transportation.
11. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by Norwegian law.
Any disputes shall be resolved under Norwegian jurisdiction.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By completing the booking and proceeding to payment, the renter confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
